AstraZeneca’s vision in Oncology is to help patients by redefining the cancer-treatment paradigm, with the aim of bringing six new cancer medicines to patients between 2013 and 2020. A broad pipeline of next-generation medicines is focused principally on four disease areas - breast, ovarian, lung and hematological cancers. Based on a deep scientific understanding of the pathology/micro-environment of the tumor, as well as the clinical issues associated with testing environment and pathology workflow, you will enable the organization to help develop tailored biomarker testing solutions for our portfolio of targeted therapies for breast cancer.

You will also be responsible for the coordination of all Medical Affairs activities related to diagnostics and biomarker testing in Her2+ diseases and Breast Cancer overall , including science advisory boards, alignment of the publication plans, and medical evidence generation plans, providing appropriate input into the global externally sponsored research collaborations and other medical affairs activities.
