An exciting opportunity has arisen to join and lead the operations finance team as Senior Finance Business Partner - Flight Operations.

The successful candidate will lead the financial and business performance for Flight Operations (Pilot Employee Costs, Hotels & Supplier Costs), ensuring the business is making strategically sound, effective, and robust business decisions that makes best use of resources and therefore providing a more cost effective, commercially robust, and competitive service.

The successful candidate will:

  • Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent
  • Be an accomplished communicator, adept at written and verbal communication to senior leadership
  • Excellent influencing capability in driving key decisions through to successful conclusions, including the creation and delivery of profit improvement plans
  • Be highly analytical and financially and commercially astute, with experience in negotiating with key suppliers and trade unions
  • Lead and develop a team to deliver their full potential, both as individuals and as part of a team
  • Take ownership and accountability for all aspects of financial reporting, technical accounting, and internal controls
