Amazon is seeking a talented Senior Field Marketing Manager to drive awareness of Amazon Web Services’ cloud computing solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and play a critical role in driving adoption and growth.

The Senior Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and executing the regional marketing strategy to increase awareness and adoption of AWS's cloud computing platform, services, and solutions. This role requires a data-driven approach and a deep understanding of the full marketing mix. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of establishing audience mind-share, working with sales leadership, and accelerating pipeline.

The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, including sales leadership, business development, partner managers, and the wider EMEA marketing teams, to develop marketing programs that meet the needs of the audience. They will have an entrepreneurial mindset, strong project management skills, and experience creating marketing content, collateral, and campaigns. Marketing experience in the public sector is a plus but not essential.

This position is based in London with flexible working arrangements considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage marketing budget and provide regular reporting on key stages in the marketing funnel and ROI.
  • Oversee vendor and agency relationships to ensure quality and value for AWS marketing investments.
  • Contribute to digital campaigns that target both technical and non-technical users and buyers.
  • Develop compelling messaging and content (such as solution videos, customer success stories, whitepapers, and presentations) for use on the web, live events, and customer-facing programs.
  • Prepare clear and concise content for websites and social media.
  • Collaborate with the Public Sector leadership team, technical teams, account managers, PR, recruiting, and evangelists to achieve business goals.

Preferred Qualifications
  • The ability to create innovative and targeted marketing programs that generate results.
  • Understanding of public sector challenges and government buying behaviours.
  • The candidate must also be a strong leader and excellent communicator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and tradeoffs to senior executives.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study.
