What you'll be doing…
You will be a Senior Engineer who is multiskilled in pulling, blowing and splicing Fibre both UG and OH. You will be building optical networks in a region of the UK. You will report to the Field Team Manager and will be responsible for a gang of engineers and to provide technical support, management and oversight.
This role covers the North of England and the Senior Engineer will be required to cover Manchster, Liverpool and Leeds therefore a full clean driving licence is required and the willingness to travel.

The right candidate should show strong team ethics, be polite and courteous whilst on site and have great customer facing skills whilst having the ability to adapt to changing job environments. You will be home based but required to travel around the UK.
Previous experience within the Telecommunications industry is essential with having practical experience in test rod & rope, subducting, pulling, blowing, splicing and OTDR testing. Ideally you will be already operating at a senior level within a similar business or have the ability to step up into a senior role.
The Senior Fibre Engineer will hold all of the relevant accreditations along with being able to do both UG and OH fibre installations. The role on occasion does require you to work away from home and nights if required. Working hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm.
