An excellent opportunity for a Senior Fashion Designer, (creative multi product) to work for a Global Fashion Wholesale supplier. The company supply clients such as ASOS, Frazer Group, Urban Outfitters etc with a market in the UK, America, Europe and building a customer base in Australia. The ideal candidate will have previous team management experience and be passionate about working in a fast-paced and changing environment. The Role:

• Work closely with the Design Manager and MD
• Helping to manage the design team when the Design Manager is away on business.
• Liaise with high street buyers to develop new collections, presenting new ideas.
• Researching, developing and designing across multi-product category, including identifying key shapes for the season and key product opportunities
• Sourcing new fabrications, techniques and trims- understanding all fabrications.
• Develop detailed tech packs, support and oversee the design team
• Designing shapes, graphics and prints.
• Use CAD confidently and effectively.
• Create trend lead cutting edge creations for fast fashion.
• Complete comp shop reports, translating catwalk to high street.
• Other duties as required.

Skills Required:

• Previous experience in a design management / team leader role
• 5 – 6 years of experience
• Good presentation skills
• Competent with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and strong Excel skills
• Must be passionate about fashion and use initiative to look for inspiration.
• Have a degree in Fashion Design or similar.
• Ability to work both self-directed and collaboratively.
• Print/graphic design skills is a bonus.
