Job Introduction

We have a fantastic opportunity within our SET CAMHS Team (part of Targeted and System support services Essex) for an Emotional Wellbeing Senior Practioner. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and motivated to make a real difference in our community.

The role also offers a great work life balance, overseeing the management of your own diary. Full time hours of 37.5 are required within the hours of 8am till 8pm and you must be able to be flexible from Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work.

Main Responsibilities
  • Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the services’ referral protocols, refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary
  • Undertake accurate assessments of risk to self and others and support supervisees to do the same
  • Hold a caseload of clients, delivering goal-based interventions to support their wellbeing
  • Develop psychological formulations for individual patients that contribute towards the overall assessment of their care needs

This role is perfect for someone who is keen to learn and develop themselves. They must be able to demonstrate experience of leadership and it is essential that they have experience and a passion for working with children and young people.

Access to a car and full driving licence is essential.
