JOB TITLE: SENIOR DOCUMENT CONTROLLER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide document control support to various projects, acting as Document Control Focal Point if required. To provide guidance to the team Document Controllers and support to the Lead Document Controller Supervise and control the processing and distribution of project documentation as per the relevant company/project procedures, accurately using EDMS systems and implementing relevant QC checks. Supervise and manage the project closeout & handover function to ensure that projects are closed out correctly and in a timely manner. Dealing with requests and queries from both internal and external clients. Assist the Lead Document Controller in the recruitment selection and interview process. Supervision of Document Controllers, providing guidance and support as needed. Building a positive relationship with client counterparts. Fully conversant in the EDMS system to provide training, advice and guidance as required to all internal clients. Assist the Lead Document Controller in the development of new and existing Document Control procedures. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Good standard of education. Firm understanding of Document Control principles and processes and be able to convey and enforce them as required. Relevant experience in a Senior Document Controller role. Organised and attentive to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels, internally and externally.Good time management skills. A team player who is also capable of working autonomously. Good experience of using an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) in a previous role.
