The Company

The Sr. Director, IT will build the Noah Medical IT team and oversee the technology that supports key business operations including R&D, manufacturing, and sales. This role is a strategic partner that provides a high level of technical expertise in support of business decisions. This person will plan, establish, and manage IT infrastructure, policies, operations, and projects in order to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, guide and maintain IT operations systems strategic and operational plans in support of the overall clinical/patient-focused mission and business strategy.
  • Develop, operationalize, and mature Noah’s vulnerability management program for all of infrastructure related assets, physical and virtual.
  • Develop an IT and business leadership reporting mechanism for relevant IT operations metrics and special reports.
  • Deliver a solid, reliable, and highly available technology foundation supporting the continued scientific innovation taking place in the company by ensuring the implementation of effective policies, procedures, discipline, processes, and protocols.
  • Responsible for the development, maintenance, and adherence of capital, operating, and project relevant information technology budgets.
  • Lifecycle Management - Provide advice on evaluation, selection, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure related technology, ensuring appropriate investment in strategic and operational systems.
  • Develop and maintain an appropriate organizational structure capable of supporting the technology needs of all functions through appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationship contact with IT suppliers and maintain knowledge of current technology, equipment, prices and terms of agreements to minimize the investment required to meet established service levels.
  • Create, develop and operationalize the Company’s information technology strategy. Recommend short- and long-term IT goals and objectives to business leaders.
  • Build an IT infrastructure and team that can support employee IT needs, enhancing productivity and scaling alongside the organization. This includes effective and timely onboarding of new employees with the required technology working closely with the People team.
  • Collaborate with Noah’s R&D team on projects such as customer portals, data collection/analysis, remote monitoring & support, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master’s/Ph.D. preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in managing functions and departments dealing with information technology operations and systems 5+ years of experience in a medical device setting is preferred..
  • Preferred professional certifications: ITMLP/CITM, PMP/PMI-ACP/SCM, SISSP/CISM, CCNA/CCNP, MSCEA/MSCAA
  • Experience leading an IT team at the Director level for at least 5 years.
  • Experience certifying to ISO27001 and SOC2, HITRUST, HIPAA, ITIL, etc.
  • Strong hands-on experience with systems such as Netsuite, Salesforce, Windchill, Agile, Arena, Propel etc. including installation, administration, migration, and integration with other IT systems
  • Good understanding and technical knowledge of current network and client operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards, such as Windows OS, cloud platforms like Google Workspace, O365, AWS, hardware, and common desktop productivity software solutions.
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Superior communication skills, oral and written; the ability to convey technically complex information and concepts in easily understood terms.
  • Proven demonstration of leadership capabilities, including development of next generation IT talent.
  • Superb organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and complete work in a timely manner.
  • Exhibit professional behavior and ability to promote positive working relationships.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, partnering with multiple stakeholders to problem solve strategically and thoughtfully.

In addition, this position may be eligible for bonuses, stock and employee benefits including but not limited to PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, dental & vision insurance, life & disability insurance and a 401k plan.
