What we’ll offer
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join Tesco Bank’s Customer Data Science Team. This is an exciting time to join our team as Customer Data Science is a growth area for us and we’re pursuing several opportunities to apply these techniques across Marketing, CRM, Personalisation and Customer Analytics.

- Track record of successfully delivering complex Data Science and Machine Learning projects.
- Experience of applying Data Science and Machine Learning in Marketing, Personalisation and Customer Analytics.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable with mentoring and helping to develop more junior colleagues.
- Proficiency with SQL and R are a must; experience of Python and Spark are an advantage.
- Able to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences with ease.
The Role
As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll be a key member of the Customer Data Science team. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a diverse set of projects across Marketing, CRM, Personalisation and Customer Analytics. You’ll play a central role in driving forward Tesco Bank’s ambitions around Personalisation and Customer Excellence. Day to day, you’ll build Machine Learning and Predictive Modelling applications to solve complex customer-related business problems. You’ll also engage with stakeholders and play an important role in translating business problems and requirements into a program of Analytics and Data Science.
