Job description
Salary: £44,747 - £46,040
Permanent, full-time role at 35 hours per week.
Closing date: 17 April 2023
PLEASE NOTE THAT ACTIONAID UK WILL REVIEW, SHORTLIST AND INTERVIEW CANDIDATES PRIOR TO THE CLOSING DATE SO WE ENCOURAGE ALL CANDIDATES TO APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Our dedicated local staff are ending violence against women and girls and helping change lives, for good.
We won’t stop until women and girls are out of danger, out of poverty and on track to create the future they want.
- Do you have advanced SQL experience?
- Do you have experience of leading a high performing technical team?
- Would you like to use this in a user centred project?
- Are you passionate about working in an organisation focused on the rights of women and girls?
If yes, this role could be perfect for you!
This role will lead the Data Warehouse project, a key part of our new CRM programme. The main purpose of the Data Warehouse is to provide a trusted source of data from multiple systems across the organisation so that reports and analyses we produce from this data will give us good evidence for making decisions about ActionAid UK’s future and for informing our supporters about what we do.
The data warehouse team will also be responsible for data migration from the legacy systems to the new CRM. As such you will play a key part in our Data and Analysis team by leading a team to build and maintain ActionAid UK’s data warehouse solution, a central repository for the organisation’s data, providing a single supporter view.
To deliver on this you will need advanced SQL skills, be comfortable working with users to develop user stories from their requirements, have experience of business process analysis and documentation, and will have experience of detecting and resolving data quality issues.
HYBRID WORKING: We are based in London and have offices in Farringdon and Somerset. We are currently piloting a hybrid working model and you can agree the days you work at home with your manager, however, you are expected to attend team meetings and other events in-person as requested. Please do bear in mind the rules around hybrid working may change in 2023 when the pilot ends.
ActionAid is committed to supporting flexible working. If you would like to discuss flexible working options, including the possibility of a job share for this role, there will be space to do so during the interview process.
We are committed to continually improving the diversity of our workforce and therefore encourage applications from people of colour, the LGBTQI+ community - including the trans community, and those with a disability.
