Data Analyst - Panel Quality

Worldpanel Division operates continuous consumer panels collecting purchase and usage information in the UK and Ireland. Panel members report their behaviour across a wide range of markets including grocery, personal care, snacking, fashion, entertainment, and telecoms.
Our goal is understanding consumer behaviour in terms of understanding what people buy, where they buy it and why. Our client base is varied and includes product manufacturers, retailers, media companies and City institutions.
Kantar’s Worldpanel Operations division is responsible for the end-to-end process of producing our data, from collection and processing of raw data through to the production of end user databases and reports.
The quality of information provided by our panel members is critical and the department will ensure that quality standards are maintained, with improvements being identified and implemented as required.
Key Responsibilities
- As a senior analyst, you will be responsible for identifying the quality needs for at least one (or more) of our Panel services; designing and implementing the methodologies and processes for the day-to-day maintenance of continuous data, including owning the 4 weekly data production and data release processes.
- Identifying and implementing necessary process improvements/ reacting to real-world changes, and the ‘go-to’ expert within Panel Quality for Operations and Commercial teams for these services.
- Managing a team of 1-2 Analysts and collaborating across many departments daily.
- Knowledge of panels and their management is desirable, and how they provide powerful insight to clients.
- Already experienced in SQL / Python / Power BI, you will have the freedom to deepen your analytical and technical skills, utilising these in yours and your team’s day-to-day work.
- You will be passionate about automation, and familiar with identifying and delivering on quality, reported through critical metrics and dashboards.
- Alongside the responsibility of ensuring the smooth running of the service, you will be involved in improvements, efficiencies, and projects.
