What we’ll offer

We’re embracing an agile way of working; this Senior Customer Value Manager role
is responsible for driving and implementing Customer Management solutions for our Savings and Deposits products that meet customer, commercial and operational outcomes.
To do this, they will collaborate with a wide range of people to identify and define customer needs, understand the context and develop the roadmap and features required to meet these needs while supporting and providing direction to the Agile Release Trains (ARTs).

What you’ll bring

This SCVM role is to lead the DVS activity for Customer Management, reporting to the Head of Customer Acquisition, in the Spend and Save Value Stream.

We’re looking for you to lead and inspire cross functional teams and drive the delivery of new features to support the delivery of our Savings and Deposits products strategies using Agile best practice. You’ll work closely with product SMEs to set and deliver the backlog of features that will deliver outstanding customer experience across the product lifecycle.

You will have:

  • Experience creating product roadmaps from conception to launch, driving the product vision, shaping the go-to market strategy, and leading design discussions.
  • Experience developing customer journeys that have translated into excellent customer experiences.
  • Experience managing products in a digital environment.
  • Understanding of Agile delivery practices.
  • Experience in financial services preferred but not essential.

The Role

Responsible for managing the definition, development and delivery of the roadmap, ensuring the solutions are aligned with customer requirements, objectives of the Value Stream and Bank strategy.

  • Translating the S&S vision into optimal customer journeys to improve our Customer Management performance, whilst retaining a focus on customer experience and compliance.
  • Working with the team to create epics, user stories, product designs and take these into production with the support of a cross-functional delivery team.
  • Ownership of the backlog, preparing and running Programme Increment (PI) sessions, making responsive decisions and prioritisation calls to protect a high pace of delivery without compromising on quality.
  • Ensuring the business outcomes are met whilst making timely escalations where necessary.
  • Participate in quarterly planning mission setting, and management reviews.
  • As needed, work with release train engineer and solutions architect to plan, and replan software releases for medium projects as they are produced to ensure timely updates and to deliver the planned benefits as early as possible in the project or program.
  • Ensure the feature team are creating feasible and sustainable solutions by developing clear models which deliver agreed outcomes.
