Job Purpose*
We are looking for a Senior Communications Executive to join the team, reporting to the Communications Manager. In this highly creative role, you will work collaboratively with the team in the UK and USA to produce compelling content and campaigns for use across web, social and email that promotes Unily’s offering and aligns to our company values. You will be passionate about creating written content and a keen researcher.
This role will put you at the cutting-edge of the enterprise software space, with lots of opportunity to develop skills, travel globally, and define Unily’s marketing strategy.

Main Responsibilities*

  • Write engaging and compelling copy (including case studies, blogs, news, emails, website copy and guides) with clear call to actions for use across website, social and email
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to identify content opportunities to promote Unily’s offering to prospective buyers
  • Support with ad-hoc marketing activities as and when necessary
  • Attend range of events to support logistics and manage social media presence

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed for the Job

  • Educated to degree level or higher or 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • First-class writing skills and the ability to quickly craft compelling and engaging content. Ideally with experience in technical writing/copywriting
  • Innovative thinker with confidence to contribute ideas and think outside the box
  • Keen attention to detail – the sort of person who enjoys spotting the apostrophe mistake in something they read
  • Be a natural project manager, highly organised and proactive, with a proven track record of delivering communication campaigns and projects from end to end
  • Able to make decisions at pace and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Personable and able to build rapport quickly and sustain it, with exceptional communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting, influencing and challenging at all levels to drive positive change
  • Experience in managing events with good organisation skills
  • The ability to take a creative approach to communication challenges in order to create compelling content and drive behavioural change
  • Creatively minded – willing and able to suggest new approaches to meet internal comms objectives in an engaging and compelling way

Job Context and any other relevant information*
This role would suit someone from a Copywriting, PR or Journalism background. The desired candidate will have experience in interviewing, researching and copywriting. This is a fast-paced department where you will be required to work on your own initiative.
This role reports to our EMEA HQ based in Godalming, Surrey and we operate on a hybrid basis, you will ideally be able to join us in the office regularly. There will be opportunities to travel, including to our annual conference held in New York, and to develop a professional network that includes senior stakeholders from the largest global enterprises and industry bodies.
