Senior Clinical Fellow (Level 3+) in Emergency Medicine (Middle Grade Rota)
University Hospital Monklands (UHM) is looking to appoint a Senior Clinical Fellow from August 2023 for a period of one year. Applications from candidates looking to work Less Than Full Time would be welcome. Flexible working for those looking to explore a specialist interest such as ultrasound, anaesthetics, frailty or acute medicine would be possible.
This post offers excellent experience in Emergency Medicine, where you will contribute to the Middle Grade rota (full shift), including weekend and night shift working. You will be well supported by Consultant colleagues and the wider Emergency Medicine Team.
The successful candidate will see minor, major and acute life threatening presentations in the Department and will be required to support junior colleagues across these areas.
There are regular weekly teaching sessions for all trainees and Doctors on the Middle Grade rota receive allocated personal development time. You will be expected to participate in Audit and Quality Improvement projects and support the Department’s education program.
NHS Lanarkshire is constantly reviewing its rotas to maintain New Deal compliance together with the new arrangements as set down by the Scottish Government and Scottish Medical Training (SMT). Rotas therefore, may be subject to change.
