Compassionate Care Workers are now being recruited to care for adults, seniors, and other patients to allow them to live safely and independently at home. You will be required to work across locations. Please submit your CV if you would like to make a huge difference in society. Working hours are flexible so whether you are studying, raising a young family, caring for a relative, or part-retired please get in touch!
Please note, This role would not be suitable for you if you do not wish to travel around in the community or if you would prefer to work in a more structured setting such as a nursing home
Before you start your new job:
We are looking to start people with their induction, online training, and care certificate training after all paperwork has been completed. This includes the application form and a healthcare questionnaire.
Job shadowing will follow once DBS clearance has been returned
Offers of employment are subject to satisfactory references and police background checks (DBS)
Duties will vary depending on the level of care required and at which level you are trained but we have included some day-to-day duties:
- Mobility Assistance
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Bath/shower assistance
- Conversation and companionship
- Teeth brushing
- Preparing nutritious meals/feeding
- Housework and laundry
- Grocery shopping
Your role is important because:
You will bring peace of mind to family members, provide companionship, and support your clients to live independently. You'll ensure they are safe and raise any concerns regarding their health.
Who Your clients/service users may be…?
You may support a wide range of people. Some may suffer from short term illness or longer-term medical conditions. Some of your clients may have come out of hospital and require temporary care to help them get back on their feet. Some of your clients may have Dementia, Parkinson's Disease, and some may have more complex needs.
Do you have the following strengths?
You must have excellent communication skills and time-keeping abilities. You must be observant, confident, and compassionate. You should be able to empathize and show kindness and professionalism. You must be committed and enjoy what you do. You should be able to work independently but you should also work well with others and be able to take and follow instructions without any conflict.
