Our fabulous, 55 bed care home needs warm, supportive, professional staff to really make a difference to peoples’ lives. We need caring and compassionate individuals to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.
To keep our beautiful and friendly home running smoothly, we are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to work 36 hours per week on our night shift. With a flexible and dynamic approach to providing person centred care, you‘ll be working with our lovely teams to ensure the lives of our residents are happy, healthy and comfortable.
All applcants must already be based in the UK.
You must have your NVQ3 in health and social care, and you must have had medication management training and experience in giving medication. Your experience of working in a care home and your good organisational and communication skills will be just what you need to lead a team of staff and ensure the smooth running of the service whilst on duty, responding to emergencies and providing guidance and support to care assistants under the supervision of qualified nursing staff. Other responsibilities will include medication administration and answering queries from visitors and professional bodies.
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of adults and successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS disclosure at their own costs.
Pay rate is £11.25 per hour Monday to Friday, and £11.50 per hour at weekends.
