Senior Night Care Assistant

£12.00 per hour

Full-time – Alternate weekends

A level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent), working towards NVQ3, or prepared to study NVQ3 is preferred for this role

Care experience, either in a carer or senior carer role is essential

Senior Care Assistants are a valuable part of our team, by combining great staff with the support of strong leadership to deliver genuine and seamless care for all its residents.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be part of our hardworking team helping residents live their lives to the fullest of their abilities by delivering the highest standard of care.

When you join us as a Senior Care Assistant you are making a difference by helping residents to feel at home and maintain their independence.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading our team to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents by providing the highest standard of care
• Supporting our carers to provide personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding and all other tasks needed to meet their care plan.
• Administering medication
• Writing and updating care plans, documenting your work and observations as per the Homes recording systems at all times.
• To respect the dignity, wishes and choices of residents at all times.
