What is the role?

What can you expect?
The promotion of our service user's independence and maintain high levels of dignity.
- The assistance service users with personal care such as washing and dressing.
- The utilising safe movement and handling techniques.
What we require from you as a Senior:
· To ensure every staff member on shift is included in the team.
· To work constantly with new staff during their induction period.
· To allocate tasks, sometimes on a daily basis and to ensure they are carried out in the correct manner.
· To administer medication in accordance with our medication policies and procedure.
· To promote a friendly, homely atmosphere at all times.
· To ensure that the Home Manager/Deputy Manager is informed of any problems or developments regarding staff, residents, etc.
· To assist residents with their activities of daily living.
· Where appropriate, supervise staff on shift and ensure high standards of care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-36 per week
Salary: £10.80 per hour
Schedule:
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Birmingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- providing care: 2 years (preferred)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred)
