Clarendon House is a Luxurious 64 bed Registered Care Home providing an excellent standard of residential care, including dementia care, as well as shorter term respite care.
There are excellent opportunities in our new Care Home for those who aspire to “really make a difference” to the lives of older people that have chosen to live in spectacular newly developed residential care services.
We are recruiting for Senior Care Assistants to join our Care Team. As a Senior Care Assistant you will possess at least 1 year's work experience in a similar environment/role. As part of your role, you will deal with visiting professionals & liaise with family members.
The working pattern is 12 hour shifts 8am-8pm / 8pm to 8am (including an hour break). If this is a fixed hours contract, it will be working 3 or 4 shifts a week on a rolling/fair play rota. These shifts will involve alternate weekend working.
- Have experience of working in a similar role
- Have a proven stable employment record
- Possess strong leadership qualities
The ideal candidate will;
- Possess NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
- Have the ability to build thriving dynamic staff teams in a warm and inviting atmosphere
- Be flexible, capable of working under pressure and able to work independently or as part of a team
An Enhanced DBS will be completed before commencement of the role.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
