Senior Care Assistant – Benfleet
Salary: £12.00 - £13.50 per hour plus 45p per mile
Contract: Full time guaranteed hours contract – evening and weekend shifts available
Shifts: 7am-4pm, 4pm-10pm
Anglian Care is an award-winning homecare provider in Essex. This role covers Benfleet, Basildon, Canvey Island, Wickford and Rayleigh.
Pay and shift patterns:
- Daytime shifts 7am-4pm, evening shifts 4pm-10pm.
- £12.00 day, £12.50 evening, £13.00 weekend day, £13.50 weekend evening.
About the role:
On a day to day basis your duties could include assisting with:
- Personal hygiene, preparing meals, household chores, administering medication, social interaction.
- Shadowing any new members of our team
- Assisting with spot checks and observations
- Mentoring
Training and support:
Here is how we support all of our new starters:
- Free online training though Social Care TV.
- Free classroom training sessions with our Head of Training and Development.
- Continued shadowing and mentoring by one of our Supervisors.
- Close working relationship with your supervisor and manager if you need support – we have been rated by CQC ‘outstanding for leadership and management’.
