This is a brand-new role within our rapidly growing Decision Science and Data team which is focused on Asda Rewards and Asda Media Partnerships. From requirements to measurement, data exploration to documentation, you'll support the development of a suite of exciting new data products. • Liaise with colleagues across Asda's business and technical teams to understand and document requirements and interdependencies, to ensure our data strategy and product roadmaps align with those in other teams, and to understand and document the potential impact and opportunities related to upstream changes to data and systems
  • Document key data products created by the Decision Science and Data team, including data inputs, data lineage, and high-level data architecture
  • Take a leading role in cataloguing and resolving issues, such as data quality incidents and tooling problems, liaising with the relevant technical departments and feeding back to the Customer Decision Science and Data team
  • Explore new and existing data sources to assess quality and suitability
  • Assist in the testing and QA of the data products
  • Collate feedback from stakeholders and relay back into the development teams
  • Assist the Product Owner with Agile tasks such as backlog grooming
  • Become a leading SME for both the data products and the data they consume
  • Influence the data strategy by creating a clear map of current and future data, tools, products, and capabilities

About you:

  • Strong understanding of, and experience with, the product development process and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
