What does the role involve?
Reporting to the Business Analysis Manager, as a Senior Business Analyst you'll lead on a variety of change projects. You'll work with stakeholders to clearly break down and define requirements for change and ensuring that functionality is developed in line with the vision. As a senior advocate and technical specialist within the BA function, you'll help to develop, coach and mentor high-quality teams of Business Analysts to deliver consistent quality and results.
Some of your key duties will include:
- In-depth analysis using the appropriate tools and techniques as well as running workshops to fully understand, refine and prioritise the business requirements
- Process modelling using best-fit tools like Jira, Confluence and Visio
- Developing, coaching and mentoring business analysts in the team
- Working with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of change through the project lifecycle
What are we looking for?
We're looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Also, we're looking for the following:
- Strong analysis techniques such as interviewing, open questioning, elicitation and stakeholder management
- In depth understanding of Agile and Waterfall Project methodologies
- Ability to lead and guide a team of Business Analysts, using coaching and mentoring techniques
- Good knowledge of best fit process modelling tools such as Jira, Confluence and Visio
