Our Team
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate or Partner to join our Birmingham Wills, Trusts and Estates Disputes team. Our Birmingham team is headed up by Partner, Kamal Majevadia. Working alongside our 6 other national Will, Trust and Estate Disputes teams, the Birmingham team represents executors, beneficiaries and trustees to provide outstanding client care and achieve landmark case judgments.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a superb opportunity to play a key role within an established and innovative Will, Trust and Estate Disputes department. You’ll work alongside leading solicitors and experts on a stimulating mix of high quality privately-funded cases as well as handling cases with alternative funding such as CFAs, LEI, ATE and BTE insurance.
What we'll need from you
- Strong Contentious Trusts and Probate Litigation experience
- Have a strong appetite for business development, able to build successful relationships with referrers of work, members of the bar and the legal profession
- Able to operate independently and as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients and develop other team members.
- Able to support the senior members of the team with supervision of the junior members.
- Have excellent client care and inter-personal skills, operating with integrity and showing empathy and intuition
- Existing contacts in within the local area would be beneficial
- Ideally, already being, or working towards becoming, a member of ACTAPS and/or STEP professional bodies
