The
- Working closely with the Chief Creative Officer, the Global Creative Directors, Design Directors, and Account Teams.
- As an art director, you will help drive conceptual thinking and art direction, ensuring consistency and brand elevation across all channels, especially social.
- You will continue to evolve and champion the creative vision, setting the expectation at the highest level to ensure creative direction is in line with our Modern Luxury brand values.
Responsibilities:
- You will be working on projects including global brand campaigns, product launches, content across digital and print channels.
- Other projects will include brand identities: creating design systems, brand worlds, typographic development and working with type foundries.
- You will be expected to research photographers, directors, artists, latest technological trends, and social media collaborators that align with the brands Modern Luxury principles.
- Knowledge and understanding of the luxury aesthetic and experience in its execution.
- You’ll have a proven track record of art directing shoots and working with photographers.
- We expect you to be conceptually progressive, equipped with the skills to create award winning work across all mediums.
- Ability to communicate and champion your creative vision to the Client.
- Strong visualisation skills required for presenting conceptual work to Client.
- You will be driven to push the limits of the creative medium.
- The ability to brief and give constructive feedback to editors, animators, designers etc.
- Develop excellent working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise work based on short and long-term needs.
- Always engaged with all aspects of visual culture and willing to share and inspire the wider team.
Experience
- Significant experience in art direction, design and writing retouching briefs
- Experience in leading and directing design projects that are beautifully crafted and executed
- An outstanding visual portfolio showing you can craft beautiful digital design
- Luxury automotive experience strongly preferred; other automotive experience welcomed
- Passionate about getting others involved and having fun along the way
Skills/Qualifications
- Design degree or equivalent in relevant subject - could be qualified by experience
- Ability to work with the wider creative team - Copywriters, Digital Designers and Artworkers
- Strong conceptual skills coupled with a 'hands-on’ design background
- Strong communication skills
- Acute attention to detail
- Fluency in all Adobe Creative Suite
- Happy working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment across multiple projects
- Strong ability to prioritise work based on short and long-term needs
- Strong aptitude to teamwork and building solid relationships with creative and account teams
- Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels
