About The Role:
RWS are looking for an experienced Appian Developer to help enhance and maintain a mission critical Appian application that supports our Language Services business. Your will become part of our agile development team, working in sprints and collaborating with our QA, integration and support teams.
The role will be ideal for someone who is already experienced with working on the Appian platform and also be highly skilled in working with MySQL/MariaDB databases.
- Developing new functionality
- Debugging and fixing defects
- Analyse changes and refining requirements
- Participating in design & code reviews
- Mentoring junior developers, driving best practices
Requirements:
- Experience with Appian BPM platform (SAIL UI framework & implementations best practices, deployments) or similar
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases and stored procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Able to work in a team
- Understanding of the full development cycle (within agile working practices desirable)
Desired experience
- Experience performing MySQL/Maria DBA activities highly desirable.
- Experience working with integration methods (webAPI, etc.)
- Experience in Java (particularly servlets)
