Job Description: ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Senior Administrator to join our Applicant Services team, working on our Service Desk. The role will provide targeted support to aid conversion and reduce blockers in the admissions process. Specific duties include: Simplified admissions decision making, on priority application cohorts Creating and issuing communications to aid conversion Enhanced support and first time resolution for key internal and external stakeholders for targeted areas Issuing Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies, and related immigration tasks Supporting the Admissions Administrators with complex query resolution and priority management Leading areas such as Interview and Portfolio management Further information is available in the . ABOUT THE TEAM This role is based within the Applicant Services team within the Global Business and Marketing service. This team deals with all aspects of the admissions journey from enquiry until enrolment. You will regularly work with colleagues outside your immediate team, within the wider applicant services team, the wider service and across the university so there are always opportunities to collaborate. Within Global Business and Marketing we deliver a range of services including Student Recruitment, Admissions, Marketing, PR and communications, TNE and International recruitment. ABOUT YOU To be successful in the role you will have: Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to develop applicant facing content and training materials Experience of Admissions or similar educational environment The ability to work with large amounts of data ensuring accuracy and within relevant policies such as GDPR Have strong organisational, planning and administrative skills with the ability to assess priorities and manage a varied workload Excellent communication skills Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders including prospective and current students, academic staff and partners via phone/video calls, emails and face to face Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering a high standard of customer experience.
