A unique opportunity has arisen for a customer service focused Administrator to join our Clinical Placements Team to support a midwifery project. This role has the option to be based remotely with one day a week on site in Kent. The project is for 18 months and starts September 2023 until March 2025.
Role and Responsibilities
The Clinical Placements Team are responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of placements undertaken by students/trainees. This role will assist a cohort of midwifery students / trainees who will require support and guidance alongside supporting their clinical placements.
Key activities will include:
- Scheduling student placements
- Handling day to day enquiries from students, staff and external partners
- Liaising with External Placement Providers
- Supporting the e-portfolio administration, processing and advising on student travel claims as well as providing ongoing administrative support for the programme and placements.
About you:
We're looking for someone with an empathetic nature and a strong customer service focus. You will enjoy taking the time to understand what students, staff and external placement providers require and be energised by delivering exceptional customer service. You will be a proactive individual and highly organised. You will be competent in the use of IT, particularly in the MS Office suite with the ability to work to a high level of accuracy.
Relevant administrative experience with knowledge and familiarity of databases would be beneficial. Although remote working for the majority of the week, you will need to be able to work in Kent for one day a week.
