Senior 2 Radiographer - General
Location: The Wellington Hospital, London
Contract Type: Permanent, full time hours 37.5hrs (including shifts patterns from 8am - 8pm with requirements for weekend on-call)
Salary Range: £35,000 - £42,000

Vacancy Summary
As a Senior 2 General Radiographer you will provide a customer focused high quality diagnostic Radiography service to our patients and service users; rotating throughout the General Radiography department. This will also involve on-call working across both modalities.
The successful Candidate will also have the opportunity to undertake CT training in due course, with further training in other areas an option as well.
About the Department
We have a state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology Suite and a fully DR General/Fluoroscopy rooms.
We cover a wide range of complex surgical procedures to include use of navigational surgery using a specialised O-Arm.
TWH Imaging opening hours are Monday-Friday 0800-2000, covering an on-call service outside of these hours. Weekend overtime is also optional
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide a professional standard of excellence in radiographic services for all patients
- Routinely perform all imaging processing, including basic PACS tasks e.g. loading images onto PACS.
- Assist with the day to day running of the imaging service
- Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner
- To participate on the shift rotation in all modalities, and undertake weekend and On-call duties within the General team
- To help with booking of immediate/on the day appointments and maintain appropriate departmental records as necessary.
Skills & Experience
- HCPC registered
- Degree within Radiography
- Have experience within General scanning in the UK
- Knowledge of processes and procedures in radiography
- CT experience desirable but not essential, training can be provided
