Charles Darwin Primary are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring, and ambitious qualified teacher to work as a special needs co-ordinator, supporting pupils with special educational needs and helping them to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate must be passionate about changing the lives and outcomes of young people regardless of barriers, and keen to develop as a practitioner. We will provide a minimum of 0.6 (3 days a week) outside of the classroom in order to support the successful candidate to lead SEND across the school.

The successful candidate will lead and provide strategic support to the pastoral team whilst working with teachers to ensure children with SEND make great progress. They will be able to deliver CPD and work with staff to ensure best practice is common across our school. Possessing experience of submitting EHCP’s and funding applications whilst working alongside staff and parents is important.
