Salary: Grade 3 (SCP6 – 11) £21,968 - £24,054 per annum, pro rata, plus 8% SEN allowance.
Actual Salary: from £17,988 – £19,697
Hours: 32.50 hours per week, term time plus 1 week. (Monday to Friday 08.30am – 3.30pm)
Start: 1st September 2023

The Governors of St Herbert’s School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced, well organised and committed teaching assistant to join our hard-working SEND support staff team.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification and Literacy and Numeracy skills
- Have experience of working in schools and supporting children with complex needs
- Have excellent communication skills and competent ICT skills
- Be flexible and self-motivated
- Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations
- Excellent team player, who is positive, proactive and has the ability to reflect and improve
- Be a practising Catholic/Christian is desirable, but not essential. Candidates would need to be willing to support the school’s aims mission and religious character
