The school

· Based in Newcastle upon Tyne

· Primary school, KS1 & KS2

· Rated Good by Ofsted

· Children who attend this school have a variety of special needs including ASD, MLD, PMLD and SEMH

The role

· Full time Teaching Assistant

· Supporting classes of children who have a variety of special needs

· Providing support with curriculum as well as speech, language and communication difficulties

· Some students may require personal care.

You

· Will have a minimum of 3 months experience in a school

· Will hold a CACHE Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or higher/equivalent (not essential)

· Will have previously supported children with special needs

· Experience supporting various special needs is useful

· Will be available for work starting as soon as possible

· Will have a friendly and caring personality

Salary: £66.00-£80.00 per day

• Newcastle upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
