Job description
SEN Teaching Assistant, Hyde (SK14), Full time, Temporary
Axcis Education are working with a one-form primary school in Hyde to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant in EYFS. The school would like to find an SEN TA who has recent experience supporting children with additional needs and is comfortable managing challenging behaviours in the classroom. The role is full time on a temporary contract that will start in the summer half term and finish at the end of the academic year 2023. There is an opportunity for a permanent position at the end of the contract, depending on how suitable the candidate is for the school and vice versa.
The demand for SEN support in primary schools is increasing, which means the requirement to bring in new, trained TA’s is becoming increasingly important. After the unfortunate circumstances surrounding COVID-19, young children are more likely to have fallen behind the academic level they should be at and even more children are struggling with additional needs. Axcis Education Manchester are working directly with this school to help combat this issue and allow learners to be appropriately supported to allow for the best possible academic outcomes.
