SEN Support Assistant needed in LS16 for September! Temp to Perm – full-time (Monday – Friday) £70 to £80 a day, paid weekly! Role to Start in September OFSTED rated “Excellent” LS16! Our agency is currently working with a primary school in Leeds to provide them with a SEN teaching assistant to work that wants to leave a positive impact on the development of pupils in the school that require extra help to learn. The role would be working 1:1 with a reception child. A successful candidate will be passionate and experienced in working with people or pupils that require extra support with day to day learning. They will also work in line with the schools values they project to all of their pupils and staff. Job Description: – 1:1 SEN work with pupil with Autism and Non-Verbal in Reception – Create a supportive and caring personal relationship – Offer strong and consistent guidance to support the learning of the pupil – Support the growth and development of pupils Personal Spec: – Have experience working with SEN pupils or a background in care/psychology – A caring and resilient personality with an enthusiastic attitude – Be able to deal with challenging behaviour effectively – Have clear and effective communication skills – Be able to remain professional in challenging situations – Provide references for at least 2 years as required Supply Desk have been working with schools across the whole of West Yorkshire and the in UK for over 20 years, providing them with the highest quality teaching staff available.
