About the role
I'm working on behalf of a fantastic special school based in Wiltshire that are looking for a 1-1 LSA to join the school from the end of May. The school look after a range of special needs & disabilities but primarily look after students with ASD.
The 1-1 role would be working with a 13 year old boy that has complex ASD. He is a lovely boy who is naturally very happy and engaging but can occasionally display challenging behaviour and act out. The role will involve quickly managing to build a trusting relationship and act as the students main lifeline in the school if needed.
What the client is looking for
The school are looking for someone that is confident in their ability to build positive relationships. Due to the needs of the student, it is imperative that you have experience working with SEN (preferably ASD), whether this is in a school or care setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £80.00-£88.00 per day
