Contract Type Full Time (Mon – Fri), Permanent
Contracted Hours 36.5 Hours
Starting rate - £12.00 per hour
Overtime paid at basic x 1.5
Shift 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday
08:30 to 15:00 Friday
Holidays 25 days (plus Bank Holidays)

Joining us as an assembly worker means you'll be joining the team of the country's most respected ladder supplier in a safe, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Main duties:
Semi-skilled assembly operative: to assemble combination ladders from component parts. Previous experience of assembly work is essential but full training will be given on the specific product and associated jigs. Operation of production machinery would be an advantage for certain stages of process.
Inbound: Receiving raw materials from suppliers by hand and in pallet quantities, verifying that the correct merchandise has been received and locating them into designated areas.
Stock management: Sorting and rotating stock to maximize storage space and efficiency within the warehouse.
Driving: Occasionally required to collect or deliver orders.
Housekeeping: Keeping work areas across the site clean and tidy.
Requirements:
· A valid forklift licence (preferable).
· A valid driving licence (preferable).
· The ability to safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment.
· The ability to lift and move heavy objects.
· The ability to stand for extended periods.
· Effective communication skills.
· Detail-oriented.
