Job description
We are a long-established, highly respected, therapy business operating in Hull and the UK wide areas for over 25 years. Due to more recent growth we are looking for professional, self employed, highly motivated, friendly, qualified therapists to deliver high quality services to our clients.
You MUST be fully qualified & hold a Diploma or Level 4 Counselling Qualification or above, be insured, and be a Registered Member of the BACP, NCS or another Professional Accredited register.
As an experienced and capable therapist, you will be able to build strong therapeutic relationships, with our clients creating a safe environment for their mental health improvement.
We provide all therapies to ages ranging from young children to mature adults & couples, specialising especially for anxiety, stress, anger, depression, couples therapy & work/life balance. We offer an integrative, solution-focused model and our clients typically book for 6-10 sessions or more.
We are especially looking for those therapists who are able to work with Children and/or Young People between the ages of 8-17, or those working with Couples. There will also be an opportunity to work with Adults for those that are successful. We are also especially interested in those being able to work with OCD, eating disorders, anger, anxiety, bereavement, self harm, ADHD & autism.
You will be expected to provide services online from your own premises, be fully insured, hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate, and be in supervision.
You will need to be able to:
- Manage own workload, be motivated and work with initiative
- Have exceptional personable skills
- Be competent at working online via Zoom or Teams
- Be able to use a Google Calendar for managing appointments - though training will be given
- To work flexibly
- To have regular availability to take on a small or large caseload of clients
- Work to a high work ethic and professional standards
