OPERATIONS SOC Operator -
SECURITY KEY PURPOSE
SERVICES
Deliver a service and incident management service and to Support the SOC Team
Lead by delivering the day to day services delivered through the Security Operations Centre (SOC)
JOB LEVEL
- To ensure that the service is managed and supported at a coal face level through the demonstrable service delivery of SOC operations Be a fully integrated member of the duty team to deliver all operational needs safely and in line with current Leading Self
- Deliver the security industry act and associated standards through the SOC immediate operational needs and compliance with the private
- legislation
- Deliver the SOC service through compliance with BS7499 on a day to day basis .
- Be a user of IT & Analytics, Sustainability, Safety, Health & Wellbeing and Customer experience concepts and
- Deliver service in the SOC solutions
- Receive and escalate all incidents in line with procedures, incident management, and strategic Ops
- Work to all processes and functions of the SOC
- As a team member, ensure that the operators deliver to the needs of that
- Ensure that all deployed assets are safe and incidents are managed to conclusion or escalation
- Deliver daily reporting including productivity and labour effectiveness
SUCCESS CRITERIA
- Support - Be the first responder to any OOH incident and planning the coal face and sector leadership, key accounts and other services on a day to day basis function as set by the Ops Performance Lead.
- Through quality service provision on a shift basis (as afar as this remit goes)
KEY LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS
- Ensure we maintain our ACS accreditation and contract base KA KPI’s are delivered through the SOC
- Be identified as a key team member and a supporter of the retention and extension of the SOC ethos.
- Work with the daily reports and senior Key Account management and ensure all audits and other needs are met and sites and teams visited.
KEY AREAS OF COLLABORATION AND INFLUENCE
- Support the success of security across the business through owning entities and leadership by best in class service through the SOC
- Work with the SOC team leads
- Work with the Security Place makers across the business
- Work with central contracts
- Work with central payroll
EXPERIENCE AND TRAITS
- Working in a Security Operations Centre
- Working with security policies based on industry standards and best practices
- Familiarity with process development and/or incident management experience
- Experience with security systems and operational application
- Ability to communicate efficiently within a team environment
- Report writing skill
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £34,000.00 per year
