The Range has recently invested in a 24/7/365 Security Operations Centre which supports the business by looking after various reactive and administrative work streams.
The Role
We are seeking a Contact Centre Operator to work as part of a team in the SOC.
The role is both proactive and reactive and will entail the team responding to incidents as they occur, as well as dealing with several administrative duties.
The team operate 24/7, but this role is for a days team member who will work twelve hour shifts on a four on-four off basis.
Given the nature of the role, you will operate with appropriate levels of discretion and offer timely and assuring updates to line management.
This is a role that requires a hands-on approach to self-development and keeping up to date with new technology as the work streams within the SOC expand.
Responsibilities
- Incident identification and resolution.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring GDPR compliance within area of responsibility
- Any other duties as directed by line management.
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Experience of working within a control room environment desired but not essential for the right applicant.
- Ability to use computers, in particular the Microsoft office packages is essential.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and act on own initiative in a logical and decisive manner.
- Able to communicate effectively at multiple levels both internally and externally.
- Able to multi-task and make logical decisions whilst remaining calm under pressure.
- High degree of integrity.
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal departments and external agencies.
- Pro-active and able to show initiative.
- High level of computer literacy, confident with office software such as Word and Excel.
- Security Experience welcomed but not required
- Fully flexible and able to work 12 hour shifts. (flexibility around supporting the other shift days as required).

Salary – £24'024 (Paid 4 weekly) – 28 day’s holidays (inclusive of PH’s).
