Security Officer’s who provides a friendly but firm, reassuring, and professional security
presence. Officer assists the site management in loss prevention.

Note: We have positions for both permanent and temporally contracts with a range of sites that are needing Officers, It will be beneficial if you have your own transport.

Purpose of the Job:

• The purpose of the job is to maintain the safety of site property/stock, staff, and

visitors at the site at all times.

• Security personnel has a vital role in ensuring that the store environment is a safe

and welcoming one and accessible to visitors and staff.

• Job includes general security role tasks, including foot patrols, access control,

deterring anti-social behaviour, potential theft, and criminal activity.

Duties:

• Loss prevention by following the ASCONA procedure.
• ASCONA represents an unofficial checklist for Security Officers when assessing a

possible: Approach, Selection, Concealment, Observation, Non-Payment, Exit.

• Provide a friendly but firm, reassuring and professional security presence.
• Assist with requests for security, safety, and related services from staff and

visitors.

• Assist in day-to-day security activities.
• Work with other Security Officers in a professional and cooperative manner for a prompt

response to calls for security.

• Ensure that all aspects of security activities within the site adhere to.
• Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and

surveillance activities.

• Liaising with the Police and site staff/management where required.

Suitable Applicants:
� A valid Front-Line SIA Licence
� A full five years of checkable employment/education history
� Calm and professional demeanour
� Strong visual attention to detail
� Reliable and flexible with work hours/shifts
� Clear and effective written and verbal communication
� Able to produce effective reports and maintain effective records
� An enthusiastic self-motivated and flexible approach
� Ability to work in a team, but also on own initiative

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.42-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Night shift

• security: 1 year (preferred)
