Job description
Purpose of the Role
To help protect the premises, customers, and site staff. Report and record all incidents / occurrences. Provide good customer service. Make sure the site is safe using CCTV, body worn cameras and provide a constant deterrent for crime by making sure you are a visible presence on site.
Key Responsibilities
Outdoor patrols of the site. (not inside the venues), dealing with incidents that occur, watching and controlling CCTV, liaising with local police, tenants, emergency services, site customers, etc. Working individually and as part of a team, using own initiative, filling in Daily Log Book, writing incident reports, communicating over radios and telephone, signing in visitors and contractors, and general customer services. Logging all lost and found items. Looking after the site via CCTV over night. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Must have door supervisor SIA badge, and preferably a CCTV licence and 1st Aid Certificate
- Must have prior experience in security and customer services, preferably + 2 years
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to use own initiative, and also work well in a team
Working Hours - 5 shifts per week - 4 x 10 hour shifts and 1 x 8 hour shift each week, total 48 hours.
