WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors by controlling the gatehouse and reception, patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel, and preventing loss by damage, fraud or theft.
The position involves managing the gatehouse, accurately booking vehicles in and out, searching vehicles and personnel. Reacting to intruder and fire alarms. Monitoring and reviewing CCTV systems. Covering reception when required. Routine warehouse duties include patrols identifying health and safety issues, vulnerable stock, staff searches, loss prevention measures. Control of visitors and contractors.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Qualifications and Experience
- First Aid training is a requirement for this position.
- Experience in use CCTV and Access Control systems.
- Experience in use of alarm systems.
SKILLS/ ABILITIES
- Good clerical ability to produce accurate and legible reports.
- Numeric ability essential to conduct accurate stock counts.
- Attention to detail.
- Firm but courteous manner to engage with staff at all levels.
- Reliable timekeeping and attendance.
- Able to follow documented procedures.
- Good observation skills.
- Awareness of Health & Safety risks.
- Basic Skills in MS Word and Excel.
- Able to use MS Outlook Email.
