Assist Security are looking to recruit a security professional with excellent customer services and conflict management skills and immaculate presentation to work at a variety of our sites.
We currently work with several clients varying from High-End Luxury Retail, 4*-5* Hotels, Event Halls, Tourist Attractions, Street Patrols, Railways, and major events around London.
We will be looking for officers who are flexible, confident and comfortable working in various locations and weather conditions.
Pay Rate:
£10.42 to £13.00
Pay rates will be dependent on the site you are deployed to.
Shift Pattern:
Shift patterns may vary however most of our sites operate on a 4 on 4 off rotation.
Shift duration:
Depending on the site you are allocated shifts can be from 6–12-hours.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 years’ experience working within Security.
- A valid DS licence.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Professional & Personable.
- Immaculate presentation.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- 5-Year employment / educational history.
Preferred Requirements (not essential):
- Proven experience in security and customer service.
- Bilingual
- Emergency First Aid Certificate.
- ACT training Certificate.
- Conflict management training.
- Be able to use two-way radios.
Responsibilities & Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Monitor and control entrances to the building.
- Maintaining a high level of security throughout the sites.
- Provide security presence for the site you have been successful to work.
- Provide security presence in line with the licencing act.
- Sites may require you to conduct regular searches of bags, staff and guests where required and report any discrepancies or violations immediately.
- Patrol designated area you are assigned.
- Support evacuation of the building during fire alarms.
- Monitor suspicious packages and be aware of bomb and terror threat procedures.
- Maintain the security logbook and incident reports.
- Manage undesirable behaviour in a professional manner, intervening and defusing potential altercations.
- Liaise with Police in absence of Security Team Leader/ Manager.
- Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty.
- Adhere to all health & safety regulations.

As a member of the security team, you will require to undertake SIA licence training and vetting to BS7858.
