This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving university and enhancing its Estates & Facilities Management Team. As part of the EFM Team (Estates & Facilities Management) you will be supporting a community of over 20,000 students and 2,600 staff based on campuses in Brighton.
In the role of Campus Security Officer you will be part of a wider team that provides a 24-hours a day, 365-day security service across multiple campuses. The responsibilities of the role will include, monitoring the CCTV network, working in the Security Control Room and providing a mobile response across all campuses. The University of Brighton Campus Security team is instrumental to help create a safe and secure campus for all our staff, students and visitors. You will use proactive and responsive security methods to ensure the delivery of comprehensive service, which goes beyond the traditional security standards and focuses on customer service. Whilst undertaking regular patrols across the estate you will be regularly interacting with staff and students to help maintain a welcoming, safe and secure learning and working environment.

There is 7 full-time posts for this vacancy at 37 hours per week. A driver's licence is required for this position and a vehicle will be provided.
