We are looking to recruit a new member of the Portering & Security Department at University Dorset Hospitals Foundation Trust to assist in all aspects of the Portering role.

This role is for 37.5 hours per week, working as part of a rota which will include weekend, evening and night shifts.

• The successful applicant should be able to manage own workload and work with minimal supervision.
• You will be a self-motivated individual who can integrate quickly with a highly successful team are key factors of the post.
• Excellent team skills and flexibility are essential combined with strong interpersonal skills.
• You will need to be physically able to cope with the demands of this role including the high level of patients transfers in addition to the delivery and collection of equipment used by medical and non medical staff each day and being part of a security response.
