Job description

Our company is seeking a highly motivated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in law enforcement and be capable of working independently on a variety of tasks and projects. The right candidate will work with our team by executing security procedures, providing emergency assistance and taking any additional action necessary to keep our workplace secure.

Responsibilities:

• Guard and protect locations and property (including cash) from theft, vandalism and damage.
• Respond to emergencies and alarms.
• Control access to and from secured areas.
• Supervise subordinates and other security staff.
• Direct ongoing activity of security staff.

Job Type: Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: £9.50-£10.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overtime
• Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sunderland: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• One Year Security (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• SIA (required)
