Job Title: Security Officer
Trust Location: South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Locations: Friarage Hospital (Northallerton)
Shift Pattern: Monday – Sunday 06:00 – 18:00 or 07:30 – 17:00 Working 5 days out of 7
Payrate: £11.45 per hour plus enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays
About the Trust
South Tees is the largest hospital Trust in the Tees Valley with two acute hospitals and services in several community hospitals. It is easily accessible via car and public transport. There is an onsite staff restaurant and a coffee shop. There are various shops which include M&S and WHSmith.
This is a Temporary Role
What you’ll be responsible for:
· Recording of all security related incidents in logbook and maintaining security access control system, recording of winter activities to estates manager.
· Providing security to all areas of hospital.
· Liaise with Assistant Manager where issues has been identified.
· Be able to review and provide CCTV footage where required.
This role may include Porter duties such as:
· Recording of all portering activity to hospital reception, being responsible for own shift pattern and liaising with shift colleagues regarding annual leave.
· Be able to review and provide service delivery feedback where required.
· Maintain adequate number of wheelchairs for daily use.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Must have an SIA Licence
· Knowledge of MS office packages
· Excellent IT skills
· Excellent communication skills
· National Security registration
· Previous experience in a similar role
