Permanent Security Officer
Location: LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, Windsor, SL4 4AY
Hours: 5 days out of 7, covering hours between 07:00am – 11:00pm on a rotational basis

About the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort
We are looking for a permanent Security Officer to join our AWESOME team at the UK’s favourite children’s theme park; the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ultimate destination for families with children age 2-12. The Resort is home to two awesome LEGO themed Hotels and a host of rides, shows and attractions built around the iconic LEGO® brick. This role is based at the Windsor theme park, located in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.
About the role of Security Officer
Our dedicated team of Security Officers provide a safe and secure environment for our guests to have unforgettable days out with us, and our staff to have a great day at work! This friendly and approachable team work across the entire resort, interacting with their colleagues and guests of all ages, ensuring that health and safety procedures are adhered to, any escalated guest concerns are approached sensitively and professionally, keeping calm in the event of an emergency and upholding company standards.
As a Security Officer you will undertake resort patrols, keeping an eye out for any guests (or staff) that might require assistance or reassurance, acting as a first point of contact for instances of conflict should they arise. You’ll also be the friendly face at our Security Gatehouse entrance to the resort, monitoring vehicle movement and access, signing in visitors and contractors, directing any guests who may have taken a wrong turn, always maintaining excellent customer service.
The Security Team are often the first people our guests will interact with at the point of bag searching before entering the resort, so you’ll need to a confident, positive, and welcoming as they begin their visit with us!
About You
Previous experience in a Security function is essential- SIA Door Supervisor is required as a minimum
- We think it would be great if you also hold an SIA CCTV License
- Full UK Driving License is desirable
- You’ll need to be a confident communicator with a passion for working with people, a positive attitude and good-natured personality
