About The Role East Kent Colleges Group are seeking a Security Officer to join the Group. We are looking for a professional and committed individual with excellent customer service and security skills to join the highly regarded Security Team, part of the Estates Department at EKC Canterbury College. As part of the role you will provide front-line security/reception for vehicles entering the campus and liaise with the Security Duty Officer and exercise responsibility for the security of the premises and to carry out regular security patrols including the checking of student/staff cards throughout the corridors and common way entrances and communal areas. You will also liaise with the Head of Security Duty Officer and Police in connection with any incidents, including theft and/or the removal of undesirables from the campus (inc buildings). You will have previous experience in the security field; however training will be provided to the right candidate. An enthusiastic, diligent and hardworking approach to all given tasks is vital.
