Job description
Your main duty as a SIA security officer will be to CCTV monitering in order to maintain the property's and its residents' safety and security. You will be in charge of watching live video, spotting possible security breaches, and taking the necessary steps to reduce risks. Strong attention to detail, superior analytical abilities, and the capacity for rapid and precise judgment are requirements for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Incident Response: Take immediate action in response to security incidents captured on CCTV, such as theft, vandalism, trespassing, or other unlawful activities. Coordinate with security personnel and notify the appropriate authorities when necessary.
Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate with other security personnel, supervisors, and law enforcement agencies as necessary to share information, report incidents, and support collaborative efforts in maintaining a secure environment.
Training and Awareness: Stay updated on the latest advancements in CCTV technology and surveillance techniques. Participate in training programs to enhance skills in CCTV monitoring, video analysis, and incident response.
Requirements:
- Excellent observation and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and assess potential security risks.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and data protection guidelines governing the use of CCTV systems.
- Effective communication skills to relay information clearly and concisely.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and documenting CCTV footage.
- Ability to remain calm and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
