Job description
Curve is a leading producing theatre, creating compelling cultural experiences for all those who live, learn and work in Leicester. Under the leadership of Chief Executive Chris Stafford and Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, Curve has developed a reputation for producing, programming, and touring a bold and diverse programme of musicals, plays, new work and dance. All of this is presented alongside a dynamic mix of community engagement and learning opportunities, which firmly places audiences and communities at the heart of everything we do.
We are looking for a Security Officer to join our Visitor Experience Team. If you are excited by the vision of our theatre and care passionately about providing customers and audiences with a first-class visitor experience in a safe and secure environment we would be very keen to hear from you. The post holder will be well informed about our activities and productions, and will be able to communicate with a wide range of people, including staff and the public in a friendly and helpful way.
We provide full training (including how we will operate within COVID secure regulations) to ensure all our visitors have an enjoyable and safe experience during their visit to Curve. However, we expect you to have experience within a customer-focused environment.
This role is offered as a permanent, annualised 26 hours per week role, on a casual contract, with a monthly rota. Successful candidates must be available evenings and weekends, as well as having good weekday daytime and Bank Holiday availability, in line with our performance and events schedule.
